Most peeling starts under the paint

Carolina heat, humidity and spring pollen are hard on paint. It lasts as long as the prep under it. Scroll through the layers.

  1. 01

    Clean it first

Dirt, pollen and mildew come off before anything else. Carolina humidity grows mildew on north walls, and paint put over it lets go early.

  2. 02

    Scrape and fix

Loose and peeling paint is scraped and sanded, cracks and gaps at the trim are sealed, so water can't get in behind the new coat.

  3. 03

    Prime the bare wood

Bare and patched spots get a primer, so the finish grips and the colour comes out even everywhere.

  4. 04

    Even finish coats

The colour goes on edge to edge in even coats, made to take hot, humid summers, summer storms and spring pollen.

  5. 05

    Clean lines, clean site

Trim, doors and edges are cut in straight, the site is cleaned up, and we walk through the finished work with you.

Pick a combination

Showing soft white and navy. Real colours look different in daylight on your house, so it's worth trying a sample or two before you decide.
